Pre-ETS Instructor

Location: Onsite daily in Crown Point, Indiana, United States

Salary: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver direct instruction in communication, life skills, employability, and pre-employment skills.
• Assess students’ strengths, interests, learning needs, and progress, then develop individualized goals and outcomes.
• Teach job-search, resume-writing, interview, teamwork, technology, problem-solving, professionalism, financial management, self-advocacy, and self-determination skills.
• Support students during classroom instruction and work experiences, including attendance tracking, workplace communication, portfolios, and transportation training.
• Provide employers with disability-awareness information and supervision strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate monthly with consultants and other relevant parties.

Requirements

• Daily onsite work in Crown Point, Indiana is required.
• Ability to work according to the student school calendar for approximately 180–185 workdays.
• Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching methods, materials, and curricula accordingly.
• Ability to support students at classroom and work-experience sites and maintain complete records.
• PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
