Mechanical Designer I (Revit/AutoCAD MEP)

What you will do

• Support mechanical assignments across planning, feasibility, concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Assist with 3D modeling and mechanical design.
• Conduct field investigations and perform red-to-black markup and review tasks.
• Produce discipline deliverables and coordinate constructible designs with architects, engineers, designers, clients, and external partners.
• Travel as required for client development and project execution.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field or technical trade school certification.
• 0–3 years of experience, including field experience in design or construction.
• Understanding of HVAC, mechanical utility, and piping system design fundamentals.
• Understanding of applicable building codes and relevant technical and design practices.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a project Engineer-of-Record and coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction staff.

Nice to have

• Basic proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience interfacing with clients and external partners.
