Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Irving, Texas, USA. On-site position with travel required.

What you will do

• Design HVAC and other mechanical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects.
• Perform mechanical engineering analysis, including load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection.
• Assess existing buildings and document current HVAC systems.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary project teams and support construction administration.
• Lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, applicable codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively, organize and prioritize work, lead a team, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• LEED certification or experience.
