Designer II/III (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Schofield, Wisconsin, United States

Salary: $27.15–$41.32 per hour

What you will do

• Create moderate-complexity drawings for new products, product changes, and special design requests using CAD technology.
• Conceptualize and develop products, parts, machinery, tooling, and sheet metal designs in 3D.
• Prepare bills of materials and maintain CAD, PDF, and other design documentation.
• Support prototyping, testing, engineering change notices, and the release of designs into production.
• Provide technical assistance to sales, marketing, and shop-floor personnel on design-related issues.
• Participate in value engineering projects that improve design and manufacturing cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Level II: 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Level III: 4–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Two-year associate degree or equivalent job experience.
• Knowledge of CAD systems; AutoCAD and Inventor are preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Schofield, Wisconsin.
• Ability to work in an office environment and attend occasional in-person meetings; minimum travel is required.
