Salary: $26.00–$51.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour and an additional bonus disclosed during the interview process.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, fixtures, assets, and commercial food equipment.
• Diagnose, inspect, operate, and test equipment using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Service food equipment including combi ovens, deli slicers, fryers, ice makers, pizza ovens, bakery ovens, and related systems.
• Receive reactive repair work orders, document repair activities, and maintain work orders and maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Train store associates on equipment care, cleaning, and safe operation.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 2 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area; alternatively, 4 years of related experience.
• Related trade license in the city or state where the role is located.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders, work at heights, remain seated or standing for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
• At least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Required commercial driving history standards include no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions, limited moving violations, and no specified serious or preventable violations.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial HVAC/R, building controls, mechanical maintenance, or construction.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using word-processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
