Production Associate (Cylinder Filler)

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site at the plant. Second shift, Monday–Friday, 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Safely inspect and fill liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders.
• Prepare high-pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels, connect them to manifolds, evacuate them, and fill them by pressure and weight.
• Perform safety checks, purity and mixture analysis, labeling, and quality-control activities.
• Load and unload cylinders from pallets and tractor trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with DOT, FDA, OSHA, hirify.global, and distributor standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to identify cylinder sizes and contents, interpret labels, and understand gas hazards.
• Ability to perform calculations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• At least one year of related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• Experience with forklift, pallet jack, or similar warehouse equipment.
