Process Safety Manager Engineer (PSM/RMP)

Location: Lyndhurst, Virginia, USA; travel to customer sites across the U.S. for 12–15 weeks per year

What you will do

• Conduct consultative audits and inspections of customer facilities for OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Plan compliance.
• Prepare engineering reports documenting deficiencies and recommended corrective actions.
• Perform engineering system calculations during compliance evaluations.
• Deliver on-site and remote training on PSM and RMP compliance.
• Serve as a compliance subject matter expert for internal engineering and design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Willingness and ability to travel to U.S. customer sites for 12–15 weeks per year.
• Strong communication and writing skills for explaining deficiencies and preparing accurate engineering reports.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to instruct technical and management personnel on refrigeration and compliance concepts.
• Comfort working at heights and performing hands-on tasks on active job sites; safety-sensitive role with pre-employment and regular drug testing.

Nice to have

• EIT license or interest in pursuing one.
• Willingness to pursue a PE license; company sponsorship is available.
• Experience with mechanical systems, process improvement, MEP construction, or HVAC/R.
