Mill Operator (1st Shift)

Location: Western Dr, West Chicago, Illinois, USA; onsite, first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Salary: $21.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate milling equipment safely and effectively to manufacture high-quality printing ink.
• Handle press-out units, pump filter equipment, forklifts, and other production support equipment.
• Package and label products in various containers.
• Clean and maintain equipment according to TPM standards.
• Participate in improvement projects and TPM activities with production teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, production management, scheduling, quality, and preventive maintenance teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Good mathematics and basic computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and availability for the assigned shift, including overtime when required.
• Ability to work side-by-side with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the ink industry or mill and pump filter operations.
• Two or more years of related manufacturing experience.
• Autonomous Maintenance experience.
• Forklift experience.
