Commercial Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Remote from Morocco or South Africa; supporting projects in Ivory Coast.

What you will do

• Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare cost forecasts.
• Evaluate the financial impact of scope changes, contract variations, and cost trends.
• Manage commercial and financial documentation, including invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with project management, planning, scheduling, controlling, and reporting teams.
• Manage accounting, legal, tax, foreign exchange, guarantees, risks, and opportunities related to projects.
• Maintain project cost reports and ensure accurate financial records in SAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project cost controlling, project reporting, commercial management, or a similar role.
• Experience in the energy, industrial, or construction sectors is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
• Knowledge of IFRS 15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and independent working skills.
