Commercial Project Manager (Solar)

Location: Remote; travel as needed

hirify.global is an asset management and servicing platform for residential and commercial solar energy portfolios, providing operations, maintenance, billing, customer support, asset performance management, and investor reporting.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver concurrent commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, scopes of work, risk assessments, execution plans, staffing plans, QA/QC plans, and safety plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, O&M, safety, asset management, subcontractors, field service partners, and landowners.
• Oversee field work involving module swaps, inverter refreshes, RSD retrofits, tracker repairs, BOS replacements, and BESS installations.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, contracts, change orders, vendor invoicing, margin targets, and financial KPIs.
• Coordinate commissioning, punch lists, inverter startups, EMS/SCADA integration, utility witness testing, documentation, training, and lessons-learned reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial and industrial or utility-scale solar project management experience.
• Experience with BESS deployments is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, renewable energy, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, trackers, BOS, and civil/structural work.
• Proficiency with MS Project, P6, Procore, or Smartsheet.
• Strong financial, communication, and leadership skills; ability to travel as needed.
