Mechanical Engineering Co-Op (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support Manufacturing Operations initiatives that increase output, reduce scrap and rework, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency.
• Work with production and senior process engineering teams on projects that improve operational performance and deliver savings.
• Identify root causes, analyze information, and propose and implement process solutions.
• Apply manufacturing best practices to strengthen safety, quality, reliability, and process predictability.
• Assist with directing and controlling processes according to defined policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student and familiar with university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June 2027.
• Studying mechanical engineering or a related major.
• Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving skills using sound engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate, influence personnel at different organizational levels, and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.
