Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; on-site work on the plant floor required

What you will do

• Support manufacturing continuous improvement projects.
• Qualify improved production processes using statistical methods.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and identify root causes.
• Implement solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Work with the manufacturing engineering team on process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program and graduating in 2028 or 2029.
• Major in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn continuous improvement concepts such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Data analysis skills.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June.
• Must be able to work on a plant floor with manufacturing equipment and must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
