Inbound Supply Chain Manager (International Logistics): Managing inbound freight operations and delivery networks for a global retail and e-commerce business with an accent on freight performance, capacity planning, cost control, and supply chain resilience. Location: Solihull, England, United Kingdom; minimum expectation of three days per week onsite at the HQ

What you will do
- Manage relationships and contracts with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
- Ensure on-time product delivery to distribution centres across all transport modes.
- Monitor inbound delivery performance and mitigate risks for new product launches.
- Align capacity and delivery plans with Commercial, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
- Establish and optimise international freight routes and warehouse delivery networks.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse freight costs, forecast volumes, and drive improvements in performance, cost, speed to market, and resilience.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing supply chain or freight operations in a global environment.
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding, and inbound supply chain management.
- Experience driving operational improvements and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to forecast, plan, and manage complex supply chain activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivering results.
Nice to have
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG environments.
- Carrier and contract management experience.
- Experience with SCM, TMS, or PLM platforms.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives.
