Operations Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: On-site in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, at either hirify.global KY1 or hirify.global KY2 fulfillment center.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates.
• Run shift huddles, set daily priorities, and manage frontline fulfillment operations.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, quality, accuracy, attendance, and safety KPIs.
• Allocate labor based on volume and operational priorities while using data to identify root causes.
• Onboard and train associates, provide feedback, and partner with Operations, HR, Safety, Quality, and Engineering.
• Identify waste-reduction and process-improvement opportunities while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant work area.

Requirements

• Interest in operations, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or people leadership.
• Relevant exposure through an internship, co-op, part-time job, project, or other professional or operational experience.
• Leadership potential, comfort working with data and metrics, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to spend most of the shift on the fulfillment floor working directly with the team.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Degree, enrollment, or coursework in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, industrial engineering, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or operations.
• Coursework or project experience in operations management, supply chain analytics, Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, or data analysis.
• Previous experience leading a team, project, student organization, athletic team, or other group.
