Supply Chain Expeditor (UK)

Location: Hybrid role based in Knowsley, Merseyside, UK, with onsite attendance required two days per week

What you will do

• Manage overseas purchase orders and provide visibility into order status, progress, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders on shipment origins, schedules, and dispatch.
• Oversee shipment approvals, customs clearance instructions, delivery scheduling, and operational issue resolution.
• Support return-to-vendor and export activities, including transport costs and collection arrangements.
• Monitor and communicate operational KPIs while maintaining accurate records in relevant systems, including SAP.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, distribution, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of import and export operations with strong commercial awareness.
• Knowledge of freight modes, transport costs, commodity tariffs, and customs procedures.
• Strong organisational, written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
