DC Team Leader

What you will do

• Lead daily distribution centre operations across inbound, outbound, returns, value-added services, and inventory functions.
• Organise workloads for DC Associates and provide hands-on support to maintain timely and accurate goods flow.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through clear expectations, feedback, recognition, and practical leadership.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and fair application of HR, employee relations, and progressive discipline processes.
• Collaborate with department managers, system specialists, wave planners, controlling teams, and other stakeholders to manage priorities and operational risks.
• Maintain operational standards, system accuracy, inventory integrity, and continuous improvement through counts, audits, investigations, and data-driven actions.

Requirements

• Experience in distribution centre inbound and outbound operations across online and retail channels.
• Hands-on experience with workflow management and operational problem resolution.
• Good understanding of warehouse management systems and inbound/outbound logistics standards.
• Experience with formal HR processes and strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of department sustainability targets and the ability to support an inclusive, collaborative, and change-oriented environment.
