Operations Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: On-site in Pittston, Pennsylvania, United States, at one of hirify.global's Pittston fulfillment centers. The role requires working primarily on the fulfillment floor and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates.
• Run shift huddles, set daily priorities, and allocate labor according to volume and operational needs.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, quality, accuracy, attendance, and safety KPIs.
• Use operational data to identify root causes, solve problems, and improve processes.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Safety, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Onboard and train associates while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant work area.

Requirements

• Interest in operations, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or people leadership.
• Exposure to a professional or operational environment through an internship, co-op, part-time job, project, or similar experience.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through work, campus organizations, athletics, volunteering, military service, or other team environments.
• Comfort working with data and metrics, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work primarily on the fulfillment floor, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime. A college degree and prior full-time warehouse supervisory experience are not required.

Nice to have

• Degree, enrollment, or coursework in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, industrial engineering, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or operations.
• Coursework or project experience in Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, supply chain analytics, operations management, or data analysis.
• Experience leading a team, project, student organization, athletic team, or other group.
