Specialist, Logistics Product & Project Management (Automotive)

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage logistics planning and product-change projects from planning through implementation using Agile and hybrid project-management methods.
• Represent logistics in product sourcing, model-line, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Evaluate part changes for packaging, routing, warehouse impact, and material flow.
• Lead change-management processes, including impact assessments, budget planning, and implementation tracking.
• Coordinate logistics projects for layout changes and new-model integration while monitoring budgets, timelines, risks, and resources.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, IT, and Finance, and present recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics engineering, material flow, supply chain planning, manufacturing logistics, or project management.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects, product-lifecycle logistics planning, CAPEX planning, cost analysis, and budget tracking.
• Advanced proficiency with tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP, Smartsheet, Pack Assist, or Catia V5.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, executive-presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance such as DOT, OSHA, and IATSA.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and Agile project-management certification such as PMI-ACP or Scrum Master.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial logistics.
• Lean Six Sigma certification, continuous-improvement experience, and familiarity with digital logistics planning or simulation tools.
