DCVD Process Support Engineer II (Semiconductor)

Location: Yokkaichi, Japan. On-site customer support is required, with travel approximately 25% of the time. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Provide on-site customer support through equipment installation, system diagnosis, servicing, and repair.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product issues.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to build trust and achieve technical goals.
• Apply process and customer knowledge to evaluate problems and develop solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fabrication facility or the equipment industry.
• Proficiency in English communication is required.
• Willingness to provide on-site support and travel approximately 25% of the time.
