Supply Chain Consultant (Energy)

Location: Boston, US; expected to work in close proximity to a Boston or Houston office

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 base pay per year, excluding short-term incentive compensation or commission.

What you will do

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize findings into strategic procurement and capital project recommendations.
• Conduct market research on supply and demand factors affecting client business decisions.
• Support bidding for large capital project contracts, including pricing analysis, bidder correspondence, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Use energy intelligence software to analyze spend, build cost models, forecast escalation, and manage eSourcing events.
• Train clients to use software tools and coordinate with supply chain stakeholders on strategy implementation.
• Deliver consulting projects on schedule, develop client relationships, and support onboarding of new consultants.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or business; a master's degree is preferred.
• Co-op or internship experience in consulting, supply chain, operations, or engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, develop subject-matter expertise, and manage priorities in a changing environment.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time.
• This position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in the power and renewables or oil and gas sectors.
• Master's degree.
