Warehouse Supervisor (Medical Device Distribution)

Location: Roosendaal, The Netherlands; on-site position within a European Distribution Centre.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of approximately 15–30 warehouse employees.
• Organize daily staffing, workload, resources, and operational priorities to achieve safe and reliable distribution performance.
• Monitor safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, and attendance KPIs; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and operating procedures in a medical device distribution environment.
• Lead daily briefings, performance discussions, escalation management, and operational problem solving.
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, training, employee development, and collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or a comparable operational environment.
• At least 3 years of direct people-leadership experience in an operational setting.
• Experience managing daily performance, staffing, productivity, attendance, and employee development.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, operational discipline, KPIs, and structured daily management.
• Minimum MBO level 4 or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Roosendaal, The Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or another quality-critical environment.
• Experience in an automated or mechanized distribution environment.
• Additional education or certification in logistics, leadership, Lean, or continuous improvement.
