Product Manager - Internal Billing Tools (AI)

What you will do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for internal billing workflows, balancing operational fixes with long-term investments in billing integrity and scalability.
• Conduct discovery with Finance, Support, Sales, resellers, and systems integrators to identify billing lifecycle failure modes.
• Define automation for quota management, billing account setup, reconciliation, and billing corrections.
• Write PRDs and user stories for internal billing consoles, APIs, and reconciliation pipelines.
• Design billing-specific RBAC and IAM models using least-privilege access principles.
• Align Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Partner Operations around compliant billing flows, operational SLAs, runbooks, and measurable OKRs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience owning financial systems, billing, payments, or complex back-office operations.
• Experience shipping automation that materially reduces manual operational work.
• Experience in B2B or enterprise environments, preferably with reseller or partner-based billing models.
• Strong knowledge of billing architectures, including invoicing, ledger reconciliation, multi-tenant chargebacks, and pricing models.
• Technical fluency in RBAC/IAM, data pipelines, API design, SQL, and analytics.
• Ability to work across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations and translate compliance or revenue goals into technical requirements.
