IT Internal Audit Analyst (German)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Prepare and follow up on ICS and external audits for SAP and non-SAP applications and databases.
• Conduct walkthroughs, assess issues, coordinate control mitigation, and support remediation plans.
• Steer control owners and deliver ICS knowledge-transfer training.
• Maintain control documentation, support regular control implementation, and perform permanent testing where applicable.
• Communicate with internal and external auditors.
• Support internal control system projects, including control automation and best-practice control development.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, or risk assurance.
• General technical understanding of applications and databases.
• Good German and English language skills are required.
• Knowledge of access management and software development processes is relevant.

Nice to have

• Big Four experience.
• CISA certification.
• Experience with agile working methods.
• SAP knowledge.
