Senior Accountant (Sales Market AT)

Location: Vienna, Austria; office attendance expected four days per week

Salary: From EUR 4,400 gross per month for full-time work, paid 14 times per year

What you will do

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for Austria.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and customs audits with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and complete required statistical reports and filings.
• Monitor Shared Service Center delivery and act as a financial business partner for regional stakeholders.
• Identify process efficiencies and implement accounting best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• 8–12 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in multi-country or regional accounting environments.
• Proficiency with accounting systems, preferably SAP and Trintech Cadency.
• Experience with shared service delivery models, audits, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in German and English, written and spoken, is required.
