What you will do

• Conduct nationally and internationally recognised research in psychology and mental health aligned with divisional and faculty priorities.
• Publish research findings in leading academic outlets.
• Apply for and secure significant external research funding.
• Design and deliver evidence-informed teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Enhance curricula, assessment, student experience, and programme improvement activities.
• Provide academic advising, supervision, and pastoral support to students.

Requirements

• PhD in psychology, clinical psychology, or a related academic discipline.
• Established record and continuing trajectory of high-quality research outputs.
• Track record of obtaining significant external research funding.
• Evidence of research independence and project leadership.
• Sustained record of successful teaching, assessment, and student support for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.

Nice to have

• Higher education teaching qualification or fellowship, such as HEA or Advance HE.
• Experience completing academic service or leadership roles.
