What you will do

• Deliver engaging postgraduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials using discussion, storytelling, and practical business scenarios.
• Adapt teaching to each cohort, encouraging critical thinking, debate, and the practical application of business concepts.
• Develop and update teaching materials, module content, and digital learning platforms.
• Design assessments, mark student work, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, and assessment submissions while supporting student progress as a Personal Academic Tutor.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, moderation, programme evaluation, scholarship, and module coordination.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant business-related field.
• Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Higher Education quality assurance and validation processes.
• Flexible, student-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held.

Nice to have

• DBA, near completion, or equivalent industry experience.
• Research or enterprise activity involvement.
• Teaching qualification such as FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, or AHEA.
• Experience leading modules or academic teams.
