Senior Finance Transformation Specialist (D365 & Automation)

What you will do

• Act as the functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and translate finance requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Drive D365 Finance optimization, fit-to-standard and fit-gap analyses, backlog management, rollouts, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate Finance, IT, key users, and external implementation partners throughout requirements, testing, data migration, go-live, and stabilization.
• Identify and implement finance automation and digitalization opportunities using Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Evaluate AI use cases, support pilots and proofs of concept, and contribute to the development of the finance systems and data landscape.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
• 5–10 years of experience in finance systems, finance transformation, or finance process improvement, including several years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Finance & Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Treasury processes.
• Experience with ERP implementations, rollouts, requirements management, testing, and UAT.
• Strong ownership, stakeholder management, communication, and pragmatic problem-solving skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English required; fluent German is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with project management methodologies, Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot, AI, finance automation, finance data integrations, or Power BI.
• Experience working in an international finance environment.
