Senior Reconciliations and Payments Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote, based in Amsterdam or Spain

hirify.global operates fintech payment and banking services supported by reconciliation and payment operations.

What you will do

• Monitor daily reconciliations to verify that bank cash matches client balances and investigate breaks or mismatches.
• Resolve reconciliation issues end-to-end, coordinating with engineering, banks, and third-party payment providers.
• Maintain vendor, regulatory, month-end, and other recurring reporting with a high level of accuracy.
• Use Excel and data visualization tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI to track reconciliation data.
• Handle occasional manual money transfers and collaborate with engineering, treasury, and banking stakeholders.
• Contribute to automating manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, treasury operations, or accounting with reconciliation exposure.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools.
• Working knowledge of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems.
• Strong attention to detail when handling money movements, along with stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, start immediately or at short notice, and adapt as processes change.
• Availability for a fixed-term contract of approximately five months, with possible extension.

Nice to have

• Experience in a neobank or fintech.
• Mathematical or quantitative background.
• Experience improving automation in reconciliation or payments workflows.
• Basic SQL or data analysis skills.
