Cash Applications Specialist (BPO)

Location: Ukraine, fully remote

What you will do

• Maintain accurate customer Accounts Receivable balances, including payment and credit applications.
• Process ACH payments and check deposits, reconcile entries, and investigate variances.
• Post customer payments and update daily bank report spreadsheets.
• Contact customers about remittances, failed payments, banking information, and cash application questions.
• Monitor email and Zendesk tickets, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams on account issues.
• Review AR aging reports, investigate unapplied credits, and support Collections activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Upper-Intermediate English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work with multiple systems, financial data, customers, and internal teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS environment or with Intacct.
• Familiarity with Stripe, Paya, Braintree, Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable and Collections processes.
• Experience handling banking or payment-related information.
