ERP Enterprise Solution Engineer (Epicor Kinetic)

Location: On-site in Salt River, Cape Town, South Africa; supports Cape Town and Boulder sites, with periodic travel for phased rollouts and on-site support weeks.

What you will do

• Own the global Epicor Kinetic ERP architecture, technical roadmap, solution standards, and full platform lifecycle.
• Configure and deliver ERP modules, integrations, customizations, fixes, phased rollouts, and new sites and entities.
• Administer LIVE, TEST, and DEV environments, SQL Server, application services, monitoring, patches, upgrades, backups, and recovery processes.
• Design and troubleshoot REST, OData, and other integrations with finance, banking, tax, shipping, CRM, data, and manufacturing systems.
• Lead L2/L3 incident resolution, root-cause analysis, vendor escalation, release, cutover, recovery, and hypercare activities.
• Coordinate with business process owners, infrastructure, data, BI, quality, MDM, architects, and external partners to deliver controlled enterprise solutions.

Requirements

• On-site availability in Cape Town, South Africa, including flexibility for periodic travel and after-hours support during cutovers, hypercare, and month end.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar ERP or enterprise solutions role and a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and supporting Epicor Kinetic or a comparable ERP platform.
• Experience with multi-site, multi-company ERP operations, regulated manufacturing environments, CSV validation, change control, traceability, and audit support.
• Strong SQL Server administration skills, including backups, recovery, maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with REST or OData integrations, APIs, middleware, data mapping and transformation, BAQ, dashboards, SSRS reports, and reconciliation.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 13485 or GMP environments.
• Experience with change management, user training, adoption planning, and external vendor or consultant collaboration.
• Knowledge of finance processes, posting rules, month-end close, bank and tax integrations, and reconciliation controls.
