ECAD Solutions Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Andover, Massachusetts; currently open only to candidates residing in California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 base annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead technical implementation teams through CAD-to-PLM solution deployments.
• Facilitate customer workshops, build stakeholder consensus, and align technology delivery with business value.
• Develop and review requirements, use cases, functional specifications, proposals, and statements of work.
• Transform customer requirements into technical solutions using the XPLM suite.
• Lead or support proof-of-concept engagements and collaborate with onsite and offshore technical teams.
• Coach team members and review project deliverables for accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of relevant CAD experience with tools such as Altium, Cadence Allegro, Cadence OrCAD, or Mentor Expedition.
• Experience contributing to enterprise CAD deployments and knowledge of PLM systems, especially CAD integration.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Technical proficiency in data modeling, SQL Server, Microsoft Office, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, equivalent experience, and willingness to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of engineering change processes, phase-gate project management, quality systems, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, manufacturing process planning, or BOM management.
