What you will do
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a large-scale retail warehouse site.
- Install, maintain, commission, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical building systems, including HVAC, lighting, power, and plumbing.
- Lead the practical application of technical works and troubleshoot projects and maintenance jobs.
- Support, supervise, and monitor contractors, including compliance with site requirements.
- Supervise technicians and provide support with their daily maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with warehouse associates, suppliers, internal departments, and the wider facilities team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in MEP, multi-trade maintenance, or a similar warehouse or large-scale site environment.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or an equivalent MEP qualification.
- Up-to-date 18th Edition qualification.
- PASMA, IPAF, ladder safety, or working-at-height training.
- Experience using hand and power tools and working with planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ability to work under pressure, diagnose problems, and adapt to changing operational demands.
