Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager - Supply Chain and Pinnacle

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; hybrid and site-based work with regular intrastate and occasional interstate and overseas travel

What you will do

• Design, execute, and continuously improve the Pinnacle and Supply Chain safety strategy.
• Implement Chain of Responsibility policies, management plans, and training covering fatigue, load management, driver standards, and vehicle roadworthiness.
• Lead and develop a team of three safety professionals while partnering with leadership and site teams.
• Oversee risk profiles, SOPs, work instructions, incident investigations, self-insurance audits, and dangerous occurrence management.
• Chair quarterly SHEC meetings, analyze safety data, and lead campaigns to reduce recordable incidents and lost hours.
• Collaborate with injury management, legal and risk teams, 3PLs, regulators, and carriers.

Requirements

• Diploma in Work Health & Safety at minimum.
• Proven safety leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, transport, or wine operations.
• In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, HVNL, and Chain of Responsibility execution.
• ICAM training and experience investigating complex incidents, identifying root causes, and developing preventive plans.
• Collaborative, curious, and resilient leadership style with the ability to drive accountability.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience leading business-wide safety programs and strategies.
• Mental Health First Aid certification and group training facilitation experience.
• Experience in beverage manufacturing, wineries, or large-scale retail supply chains.
