Solutions Consultant (Transit)

Location: Remote anywhere in the UK; candidates based in London may work in a hybrid model with occasional office travel. The role may be performed from any country for up to 3 months per year, subject to limitations.

hirify.global builds fare collection platforms that enable public transport passengers to buy and present tickets through mobile phones, ticket machines, and bank cards.

What you will do

• Partner with Business Development to shape solution strategies and relationships that support winning opportunities.
• Connect transit agency needs with hirify.global’s open fare collection platform and demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
• Engage technical stakeholders, run product demonstrations, and lead discovery workshops before and after sales.
• Contribute to RFPs, identify product gaps, and work with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap.
• Translate agreed solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation, then support handover into Delivery.
• Share agency feedback with Product, Engineering, and PMO to support implementation and market-driven product development.

Requirements

• Experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-focused role.
• Working knowledge of APIs, data models, and integration flows.
• Experience contributing to RFPs, Statements of Work, or structured procurement responses.
• Ability to guide diverse stakeholders through complex topics and reach practical solutions.
• Experience with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environments such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech.
• Must be located in the UK; London-based candidates may use a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments.
• Experience integrating third-party hardware or SaaS platforms.
• Experience in another regulated, tender-led sector.
• Experience improving documentation, diagrams, or enablement materials.
• Curiosity about using AI tools to learn, solve problems, and work more effectively.
