Senior Systems Administrator with Poly

Location: On-site at the customer location in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: USD $140,770–$281,541 per year

What you will do

• Manage and optimize the customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems for performance and security.
• Patch, upgrade, and migrate Linux systems and virtual machines.
• Build and maintain secure physical and virtual server environments.
• Research and implement solutions to close Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts.
• Participate in release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile activities.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the application development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Current United States residency required.
• At least three years of recent Linux systems administration experience, including experience within the last three years.
• Experience with physical and virtual servers, Ansible automation, and VMware environments.
• Security+ certification required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Python or Perl scripting experience for automation and task optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization.
