Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; on-site. United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary: $75.67–$102.47 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up and configure AWS EC2 environments for mission-critical systems.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, cost optimization, and sustainability.
• Automate operational tasks using Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Design resilient systems and implement monitoring and logging.
• Perform Linux administration, including SSH access, software installation, Docker, Kubernetes, Traefik, and system status checks.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required.
• 3+ years of experience in IT, cloud-hybrid environments, systems administration, and virtualization technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; the degree may be considered equivalent to two years of experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification, such as Security+ CE or equivalent, plus a qualifying cloud certification.
• Strong knowledge of core Linux operating system components and one of the required or comparable certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CDP Administrator - Private Cloud Base, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
