Customer Success Engineer 4 (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, California; Morrisville, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; San Francisco, California; or New York, New York, United States.

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 annual on-target earnings (OTE), including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical success advisor for strategic AWS customers.
• Guide customers through cloud launch, migration, optimization, and scaling phases.
• Develop success plans with measurable outcomes, milestones, owners, risks, and consumption targets.
• Translate business and workload requirements into technical architectures, adoption roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Provide guidance on storage efficiency, resiliency, security, performance, monitoring, and cost optimization for hirify.global solutions on AWS.
• Coordinate hirify.global, AWS, account teams, support, engineering, product management, partners, and systems integrators while leading technical reviews and resolving adoption barriers.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Customer Success Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or technical consultant.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS infrastructure, storage, networking, security, resiliency, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical architectures, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional cloud adoption or migration programs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Typically, at least 8 years of related experience for individual contributors, or equivalent practical experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon FSx for hirify.global ONTAP, ONTAP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, or enterprise storage and data management.
• Knowledge of workload migration, hybrid cloud architecture, backup, disaster recovery, ransomware protection, and data governance.
• Experience with scripting, automation, APIs, infrastructure as code, or cloud operations tooling.
• AWS or hirify.global technical certifications.
