What you will do

• Perform advanced requirements engineering, systems integration, verification and validation, and model-based systems engineering.
• Lead system and decision analyses, technical planning, trade studies, and risk management.
• Collaborate with radio frequency engineers to develop system architecture concepts.
• Support architecture and design development, technical monitoring, lifecycle management, and baseline maturation.
• Prepare technical presentations and communicate analysis results across multidisciplinary teams.
• Guide and mentor junior systems engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation and allocation, systems design, integration, technical risk management, and V&V principles.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with radio frequency and radar system architecture, implementation, laboratory development, and testing.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Experience with DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB, and other requirements or systems modeling tools.
• INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certification, Agile experience, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with technical performance measurements and complex development trade studies.
