Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Ontario, Canada; on-site

Salary: CAD 90,000–CAD 110,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise and direct unionized mill maintenance personnel and external maintenance contractors.
• Lead the team in optimizing maintenance activities and coordinating routine and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Work with operating departments and planners to complete maintenance activities.
• Promote safe, productive work while improving quality, production, maintenance costs, and unscheduled downtime.
• Mentor and coach employees through active observation and feedback.

Requirements

• Red Seal trade certificate, diploma or degree in electrical engineering, or at least two years of experience supervising trades in a unionized industrial facility.
• Strong communication, listening, organizational, planning, prioritization, and delegation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office and experience with a CMMS.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada when applying.
