Quality Assurance Manager (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, Monday–Friday

Salary: CAD 100,000–115,000 yearly, plus bonus eligibility and additional time-off accrual

What you will do

• Develop, implement, lead, and evaluate Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Document Control processes within the electronics manufacturing team.
• Lead the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001-related processes, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer quality, supplier quality, internal quality control, and corrective and preventive action activities.
• Support new product development through DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, sampling, process controls, certifications, and critical-to-quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, industry standards, CSA, UL, and electronic manufacturing requirements.
• Supervise one direct report, collaborate with customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders, and travel approximately 10%.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience applying and implementing quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of people-management experience with end-to-end employee lifecycle responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and quality principles, inspection methods, quality control techniques, and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience addressing quality issues with customer and supplier representatives.
• Required regulatory experience with CSA and UL, plus understanding of applicable laws, codes, regulations, and safety practices.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodology knowledge.
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean methodologies, and supply chain management, including APICS.
