Data Protection Analyst (DLP)

What you will do

• Monitor Data Loss Prevention events for Managed Services clients and escalate necessary events through approved client escalation paths.
• Perform DLP console health checks according to Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Extract monthly metrics to support Program Analysts, Program Strategy Managers, and customer presentations.
• Analyze monitoring trends and provide recommendations for customer policies.
• Enhance customer policies in DLP environments and ensure use cases meet customer requirements.
• Perform all assigned activities in accordance with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System.

Requirements

• Experience in information security, digital forensics, intelligence, risk management, or a similar field.
• Ability to analyze data sets, identify unique attributes and trends, and derive business intelligence.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, time-management, and follow-up skills.
• Rigorous attention to detail and sound judgment when managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to different audiences and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Self-motivation and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or another applicable field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with DLP, CASB, SIEM, email gateways, or web gateways.
• Experience conducting computer or cyber forensics and investigations.
• Certifications such as Network+, Security+, SSCP, ITIL, ISO 20/27k, or CFE.
