Security Technical Specialist – Specialist Senior/Principal (DLP)

What you will do

• Monitor and protect sensitive data across endpoints, cloud environments, email, networks, and removable media.
• Create, test, enhance, and implement DLP policies, rules, data classification strategies, and data-at-rest protections.
• Deploy and remediate data protection software, troubleshoot policies and software, and manage ServiceNow tickets.
• Investigate policy violations, data loss events, phishing activity, and significant or major security incidents.
• Develop project strategies, reports, and cybersecurity documents, and collaborate with security, technology, HR, compliance, and support groups.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and participate in on-call rotations, change requests, and emergency response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience for the Senior level or 7 years for the Principal level.
• Experience with DLP engineering or analysis, data classification, and data protection.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, Windows, Active Directory, UNIX/Linux command-line operations, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with scripting or development using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows and Linux endpoints and support on-call or after-hours incident response.
