Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Irving, Texas, United States (hybrid); four days per week in the office

hirify.global operates a cybersecurity program with specialized teams covering engineering, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, governance, risk, architecture, and offensive security.

What you will do

• Execute cybersecurity program activities that organize information, support risk decisions, and address threats to company systems and information assets.
• Develop and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures using NIST 800-53 controls and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Manage audits and track remediation items and findings through completion.
• Develop security requirements addressing internal and external threats and document policy or procedure discrepancies.
• Collaborate with business partners and internal or external groups to promote adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls.

Requirements

• Must work in a hybrid arrangement in Irving, Texas, with four days per week in the office.
• At least one year of experience in a cybersecurity domain such as governance, risk management, network security, security architecture, compliance, audit, or operational security.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing and switching, HTTP, SSH, SSL, DNS, cloud technologies, and IT security controls.
• Experience with cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Information security certifications.
• Experience with UML design tools, TMSH, SSH or serial administration, Visio, Microsoft Office, network and VLAN segmentation, or technical writing.
• Experience working directly with senior-level management in a large and complex business environment.
