Technical Presales Engineer (AV/UC)

Location: Manila, Philippines; the role requires travel of more than 50% to partner and customer locations, including overseas travel when required.

What you will do

• Support enterprise and channel account managers throughout the technical presales process, including scopes of work, proofs of concept, demonstrations, tenders, and RFP responses.
• Design tailored video collaboration, personal workspace, and software solutions by integrating hardware and software for customers and partners.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, partner bootcamps, hands-on training, and quarterly technical webinars.
• Lead discussions on VCaaS and cloud-service interoperability with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google solutions.
• Build partner relationships, support solution adoption and deployment, and position products against competitors.
• Provide limited post-sales technical support, maintain demo equipment and facilities, and remotely support presales teams in Indonesia and Thailand.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of technical experience, including at least 5 years in AV, unified communications, or video collaboration environments.
• Tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of video collaboration technologies, personal collaboration devices, hardware and software components, and conference-room design.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, plus experience integrating complex solutions with IT networks and cybersecurity requirements.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills, exceptional presentation and communication abilities, and the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel more than 50% to partner and customer locations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of H.323 and SIP-based video-conferencing endpoints.
• Experience with hirify.global, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Huddly, Extron, or QSC hardware.
• Experience debugging, performing failure analysis, and verifying modular video-conferencing components.
• Familiarity with AV equipment such as switchers, audio DSPs, displays, cables, connectors, and mixers.
