Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas metro area, with coverage of Fort Smith and El Dorado as needed. The role requires extensive driving, significant travel time, and onsite service at customers’ homes.

Salary: $22.75–$26.75 per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer locations to maintain and repair LG equipment.
• Diagnose and repair major appliances, TVs, and air-conditioning units.
• Use diagnostic equipment, tools, vehicles, and required personal protective equipment safely.
• Assess product issues, document findings, and determine whether to repair products or replace parts.
• Manage inventory, complete paperwork and data entry, and pre-screen upcoming service calls.
• Meet customer satisfaction, first-time-fix, parts-management, revisit, and overtime metrics.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a technical role; appliance repair experience is preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking products, and cleaning products.
• Experience using tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to obtain appropriate EPA certification.
• Ability to perform field-service physical activities, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
