Staff Product Testing Specialist (Semiconductor)

Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia; onsite, remote work is not available

What you will do

• Review low-yield production lots, provide disposition, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factories, and OSAT partners to resolve production issues.
• Execute sustaining activities, including EQA hold-rate reduction and SYL/SBL sustaining, to support delivery fulfillment.
• Qualify and validate new products, migrate tester platforms, and perform related engineering activities.
• Drive gross-margin improvement initiatives through yield improvement and related actions.
• Support system integration and overall product quality and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, preferably in test product engineering, test engineering, or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and power product knowledge and test methodology, failure analysis, reliability testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with statistical data analysis tools such as JMP and Spotfire.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with people at all levels.
• Strong project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with module devices.
• Experience with Visual Basic or C++ programming.
• Experience with ATE tester platforms such as Teradyne ETS364/Flex or Advantest.
