Senior Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor Test)

What you will do

• Own product performance and test engineering strategy across new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.
• Design and optimize test plans, test time, yield, quality, test coverage, and cost efficiency.
• Lead development, integration, and maintenance of the Linux-based SHRACKU in-house test platform, including network IP and USB protocol validation.
• Provide electrical failure analysis and technical support for production, reliability, RMA, and DPPM improvement.
• Lead NPI test projects and transfer test technology from NPI to high-volume manufacturing.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, work instructions, and test equipment guidelines while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor product or test engineering, including memory or semiconductor testing in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with FMEA, DMAIC, Fishbone analysis, SPC, SBL, SYL, Flip Chip technology, network IP integration, communication protocols, and tester connectivity.
• Hands-on experience operating, setting up, correlating, and troubleshooting ATE test platforms.
• Knowledge of test program development, yield improvement, test time reduction, data analysis, root cause identification, and instrumentation interfaces such as SPI and UART.
• Ability to lead technical teams, collaborate cross-functionally, communicate clearly, manage priorities, and mentor engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Non-Volatile Memory testing, failure mechanisms, and Electrical Failure Analysis techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, C++, and Java for test development and data automation.
• Experience with USB protocol testing, validation, and debugging using analyzers or compliance tools.
• Experience with Linux OS for test automation, scripting, and system integration.
