Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain and support Backend Assembly manufacturing equipment to meet reliability, uptime, quality, and productivity targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and analyze equipment performance indicators.
• Lead equipment qualification, installation, upgrades, and new equipment introduction activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and other cross-functional teams while developing automation and maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in Backend Assembly Equipment Engineering, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment performance optimization, or new equipment introduction.
• Knowledge of RCA, 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, CAPA, automation, controls, data analysis, and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
