Infrastructure operations for a New Zealand client specialising in civil construction, regional asset maintenance, and water infrastructure.

What you will do

• Carry out routine and cyclic road maintenance, including patching, pothole repair, drainage clearing, and vegetation control.
• Operate or assist with heavy machinery and maintenance trucks.
• Inspect roads and identify defects or safety hazards.
• Perform pavement, chipseal, and asphalt repairs.
• Set up and maintain traffic management controls around live traffic sites.
• Respond to emergency callouts and maintain equipment and vehicles in good working order.

Requirements

• At least two years of verifiable experience in road maintenance, civil construction, or heavy-equipment operation.
• Experience relevant to the specific position and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work outdoors, perform physically demanding duties, and follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, overtime, and emergency callouts when required.
• Current driver's licence, plus the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol, reference, and police checks.

Nice to have

• Experience operating graders, excavators, rollers, loaders, or maintenance trucks.
• Experience with road inspections, cyclic patrols, asphalt, chipseal, drainage, pavement repairs, or live traffic.
• Recognised heavy-equipment competency certificates or a heavy-vehicle driver's licence.
• Previous employment outside the Philippines.
