Senior Building Surveyor (Built Asset Consultancy)

What you will do

• Manage building surveying commissions and complex projects from inception to completion.
• Act as contract administrator and employer’s agent.
• Prepare designs, technical specifications, pre-acquisition surveys, PPM schedules, and asset condition assessments.
• Conduct quality and technical monitoring, including bank and fund monitoring.
• Diagnose defects and deliver dilapidations and party wall awards.
• Build client relationships, coordinate stakeholders, and promote technical best practice.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or a similar technical discipline.
• MRICS or membership of another relevant professional body.
• Experience with CDM and health and safety requirements.
• Strong project management experience and the ability to manage complex workloads and deadlines.
• Excellent specification writing skills and good knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Previous consultancy experience and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
